Prashanth Katrapati, MD, FACC, FSCAI
Prashanth Katrapati, M.D., FACC, FSCAI, a cardiologist who is fellowship trained in interventional cardiology, has expertise in coronary, peripheral and structural heart intervention.
Dr. Katrapati completed fellowships in cardiovascular medicine and interventional cardiology at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Mich., where he also served as chief fellow. During his fellowship, he was involved in clinical research focusing on optimal treatments for patients with heart attacks.
He performed a residency in internal medicine at the University Hospitals of Cleveland/Case Western, Cleveland, Ohio. He also served as chief resident and clinical instructor in medicine there. He earned his medical degree from the University of Toledo, Toledo, Ohio, and was inducted into the Gold Humanism Foundation. His undergraduate degree is in chemical engineering from the University of Michigan, where he graduated magna cum laude.
Dr. Katrapati is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, interventional cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, vascular ultrasound and endovascular medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions.
Venkat R. Pasnoori, MD, FACC, FSCAI, MPH
Dr. Venkat Pasnoori offers state-of-the-art cardiac and vascular diagnosis and treatment for patients. He has expertise in complex coronary and peripheral vascular interventions, minimally invasive closure of holes in heart, implanting pacemakers and defibrillators and non-surgical ablation therapy for varicose veins.
Dr. Pasnoori did his Interventional Cardiology training at Boston University Medical Center, MA and his Cardiology fellowship at the University of Louisville, KY where he also served as Chief Fellow. He did Masters in Public Health at the Medical College of Wisconsin where he was inducted into the National Public Health Honors Society.
Dr. Pasnoori is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Nuclear Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions.
Donald J. McSweyn, MD, FACC, FACP, MBA
Dr. McSweyn, a board-certified cardiologist, is especially interested in the treatment and prevention of coronary artery disease. He received a bachelor's degree magna cum laude from Kansas State University, a medical degree at the University of Kansas and completed his internship and medical residency there.
He was a fellow in cardiovascular medicine at the University of Minnesota and an interventional cardiology fellow at the Mid-America Heart Institute. He also has a MBA in healthcare from George Washington University.
